Thank you for this. I’ve been worried and worried even been to the hospital but was told it’s normal. New mummy here 🥹
I don't remember my first grunting but my second bloody hell, I didn't know what was going on but seems to be the norm. I would say the grunting stopped around 4 weeks or so.
@Ayomide I'm also a new mum! But I also have a baby brother thats 15 years younger and he was one noisy fucker 😂😂 (still is tbf, and he's 21 now🤣)
@Melissa ahhh I’m relived now
@Dominique 😂😂 thanks so much ♥️
My babies have always been noisy sleepers and very grunty over night but my daughter who is 8 weeks old is really bad with it. She grunts with every breath awake or asleep. she has a tracheal Tug and rib retractions, too. We have been told she has laryngomalacia and are waiting on an urgent ENT appointment x
My 4week boy is very squeaky and grunty. Apparently it's normal 🤷🏻♀️ We were also worried and spoke to the midwife and health visitor.
It’s actually called grunting baby syndrome 😅 my daughter stopped at around 3 months
@Alana my little boy has been diagnosed with laryngomalacia too - our appointment has come through for the end of next month. Although everyone has said it sounds worse than it actually is, it’s scary isn’t it?
8 weeks in and still grunting lol
@Jess aww bless 🥹
Lol, yes is normal. Babies are very noisy
