Babysitter, your opinions please! 🤯🤯🤯

I am being induced sunday, very high risk pregnancy. Also positive for preterm labour. So I am pretty alone, no relatives, no friends, just me and husband. I need my husband at the birth, so I found a babysitter for my two girls. Today was the first time my children met and stayed to her house for 2 hours planned a week in advance. Come back to collect the children, and I was told that the babysitter left my children 4 & 8 with her 12 year old whilst she went to the shop for crisps although I packed a bag for them with snacks and crisps. Absolutely unacceptable!

Wth, absolutely no way!!! 😨😭

I was totally in shock, and disbelief. It took me a long time to come round to the idea of leaving my girls with practically a stranger, I also cried on my way home. Perhaps it was mothers intuition that maybe something wasn't right. But I'm so stressed out now, and obviously I won't take them back there again. Such a breech of trust for me.

You're 100% right. I hope you find someone suitable. Where did you find her? Have you looked on childcare?

No bloody way! Does your 4 year old go to nursery? The teachers at our nursery babysit and we use them for everything. There are proper websites that you can go on that find babysitters, Nannie’s etc for you they are all verified and checked. It is hard not knowing anyone , I am in the same position, my mum is sick at the moment so we are using our accountant at our business as option 2 😂😂 she is also a friend , but it took me ages to allow anyone to look after my son.
