Hurt and want to leave

I've struggled really bad with my mental health post patrum. My partner picks and chooses when he wants to be supportive. Which makes it worse because I don't have any family or friends so when he chooses to not support me I literally am alone in this sadness. To make it worse I found messages between him and his sister saying my mental health is embarrassing and her telling him to take legal action, and get full custody. And then discussing he needs to video, record screenshot everything. So now every time I'm in these low moods I'm constantly battling with he is probably telling her this, is he recording this ect. If I'm honest I want to walk away I'm done being supported. (I'm not saying take my don away btw I still want him to have his dad in his life and I wouldn't do that to him) I just want to live in our little perfect space me and my little boy. I'm just so scared financially it just seems so daunting. Can anyone give any advice on this please. Thank you in advance!

Show your support

Oh gosh that is just what you dont need when you're feeling this way! Mental health after a baby is so so hard. I'm sorry you're not being supported properly. Have you tried speaking to your partner about it? Open communication is always helpful although I know it's hard. If he's anything like my partner he will have no clue what you're going through! Also for you..have you spoken to your health visitor/GP to get perinatal support? Also pandas advice line is great xxx Sending you much love, hang on in there xxxxx

Back in 2020 I left the father of my eldest. Me and my son lived in a lovely little 2 bed whilst I claimed universal credit in lock down. And honestly it was the best year of my life everything was so much easier (once you get used to it) it’s scary before you do it asking yourself if you’ll be ok doing it on your own or without the financial help but if you budget properly you will be just fine xx
