Rib pain

Has anyone else got rib pain on one side that feels like a burning/bruised or inflamed feeling? I went to the hospital and was cleared for gallstones a while ago but it’s becoming unbearable. It flares up during the night inbetween needing to get up for the loo and its on and off all day. Its really starting to affect my mental health i feel like i’m being tortured 😢

I’ve had it in both my pregnancies so far, I cannot lie it gets worse the bigger baby gets… it goes as soon as you give birth though. It was the main reason I told myself I’d never have a 2nd… but here I am😂

Yes - started yesterday and it's so uncomfortable Like towards my back, underneath - nothing fixes it - standing, sitting, lying down. Tried paracetamol and I'm convinced that's not working either

Me 😭😭 it feels painful to touch now because they feel so bruised. I’m off work with it because I can’t sit at my desk, I’m just having to lay in bed but only in certain positions otherwise it hurts. I’m 30+5 and it’s been going on for about 10 weeks now, hurts to go to the toilet because I can’t push 🙈

I have this exact thing too. Had it with my first daughter too. Only thing that helps is leaning the opposite was and pushing down a little on bump where I feel the pain.

I’ve got it! My baby is breached and their head is right under my left rib my midwife said it’s extremely normal/common. It hurt so badly 😮‍💨

I feel so much less alone ladies ❤️ it is CRIPPLING ME! So weird its just under 1 rib. I had a growth scan which showed the babies butt was lodged in there 😩 i hoping once the baby drops it might ease? But @Natalya not from your experience?!

I had inflamed ribs. Nothing really helped but less movement for a while if you can does bring the inflammation down a bit. I also helped myself with tiger palm on the infected area which seemed to help a bit and then also sleeping on the other side. To be honest the only thing that really made much of a difference was staying home/still and doing stretching exercises such as cat cow movement on all fours

With my little boy I had it right till he was born sadly😂 I remember I got to the point I just cried because no matter what position I was in, it was just painful
