When did people set up their cots/bedside cots/moses baskets?

I'm 37 weeks now and have been getting a few bits ready for baby. I've washed the lining/sheets for our downstairs moses basket and for our bedside cot but is it too soon to have them out ready? Don't want them to be covered in dust before she gets here but I also don't wanna end up not having them set up ready since we could go any time! I've been a bit cleaning obsessed lately and want everything to be fresh and clean 🙈

I washed everything for the next-to-me bed but won't set it up yet because I don't want it to get dusty as you said. I'm 36w tomorrow. My plan is to set it up around 38w but won't put the fresh sheet on the mattress until we get home from the hospital. It takes a minute to put the fitted sheet on the small mattress so will keep it as clean as possible.

Is it a quick one to assemble? You’ll possibly even have time when labour starts to pop it up then. But if it’s new in the box and complex (like the Snuzpod) I’d get it made up but not put the mattress in yet as it’s not as quick as you think.

@Madeleine yeah it's really fast! Except the straps to the bed might be a bit more complex as we haven't looked at that yet so maybe we just attach them for now 🤔
