Changing from car seat to pram seat

My baby is 16 weeks and quickly out growing the car seat that fits onto the pram. Can they go into a pram seat at this age if it’s at the angle in the picture rather than upright?

We have the same pram and my daughter was in this bit from 4 months. We took the head rest bit out of the car seat and put on this for a bit for extra support

My boy went in at 8 weeks! Go for it and my little girl was about 10 weeks x

What makes you say they're outgrowing the car seat? It's highly unlikely at 16 weeks. Do you want to post a picture for a fit check? Maybe theres some adjustment you can make to the car seat

@Charley it’s more weight wise so this option on the pram is getting more difficult. The car seat still fits 😊

Do you mean baby doesn’t fit into the carry cot/bassinet?

@Zeynep she’s never really liked going in the carry cot so we have always used the car seat option. It’s getting a bit heavy to lift in and out now though (have a bad back) so looking at using the seat option instead so can just get her out of the car seat and strap into the chair

My wee boy is coming up for 4months. We have went and purchased a isofix 360 spin car seat. Like you say to heavy to bring him in and out. We are transitioning him from the bassinet bit on the pram to the buggy on a recline we asked the health visitor and because he has head control and sits up with support straight as long as he's strapped in should be okay. My boys to nosey to be in his bassinet now 🤣

Oh so you're still using the car seat but just leaving it in the car because it's too heavy to carry her in and out in it? That makes sense.
