Fussy with food

Looking for some advice and/or reassurance - my baby has all of a sudden turned fussy with food, after doing so well initially. She only seems to want to eat what she wants, and often refuses to even try things even if she’s eaten it before, throwing it on the floor. She seems to have safe foods which are fruit etc but I don’t want to keep just giving these. Has anyone else experienced this?

My boy is going through a similar phase, from what I remember with my first it’s normal around this age, plus they are sometimes teething or get ill which can affect their appetite as well. My baby climbs out of his highchair so I put his plate on the floor or the kids table so he can help himself. At dinner we have the booster seat strapped to the chair but he mostly pushes the food from that onto the floor. Just keep offering a variety of foods

My boy is exactly the same! Ate so well, would try anything but the past few weeks he takes one look at something, doesn't even put it to his mouth he just instantly throws it 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm hoping it's just a phase but would love to know if anyone has any tips? X

My little guy has been like this for about a week now, at first I thought it was teething but now I just think he’s being fussy. Before he would eat everything and he didn’t want much milk, I though we were well on the way to dropping to down to bottles, yay, but now he’s guzzling milk and can’t be bothered with food unless it’s veggie crisps or yogurt. Another phase 🙈 x
