Toddler mouth breathing

Does any one’s toddler mouth breathe especially during sleep? My son used a pacifier until he was about 18 months and I feel that might have caused him to be a mouth breather, I mainly notice when he is sleeping. It seems worse during these dry winter months. I do use a humidifier to help with the dry air. I am thinking to bring it up for his 2 year appointment. Any advise or thoughts based on experience?

My girl mouth breathes too but she stopped wanting a pacifier by like 6 months old, so I'm not sure if there is a causation there. We also had her tongue tie snipped at 2 months old, and that's supposed to be related to mouth breathing, but still no luck. Our speech therapist says it's often an airway issue and to have it checked out by an ENT to see if enlarged tonsils, adenoids, etc could be contributing. We're still trying to figure it out too!

My son always has, but no ties nor pacifier use past like 4 months. I’ve brought it up before and no doctor ever seems concerned despite what I read online. Plan to ask again at his 2 year appt tomorrow.

One of my twins is a mouth breather, tongue sticking slightly out during the day and bedtime. We got an ENT referral to look at his adenoids

My baby is a mouth breather like me. She never really took a paci. Its cute hearing her occasional little snores but worries me sometimes. I'm probably gonna bring it up during her 2 year appointment.
