I was the exact same luckily! It’s made me want to pick elective section if we’re lucky enough to have another baby
I was the same. The day after my c section I got out of bed and walking round the ward. One nurse was so shocked and said you have just had a c section. I said I know but doesn’t make me bed bound. After day 3 I was off pain meds, 5 days I was doing washing and going for gentle walks, 2 weeks I was back driving and 3 weeks I did a deep clean on the house 😂 every now and then I moved and it hurt or I knew when I had over done it but healed really well and really quickly.
I’m the same my recovery was great. I walked to the local shops which is about a 30 min walk on day 5 then a 45 min walk on the pub on day 7!
I was the same way (minus the bleeding but that was another issue!) I’m debating a second c section with my current pregnancy and hope I do have one, the recovery is similar :)
Well done ladies!! The human body works in wonderful, weird and mysterious ways - amazing! 🩷
I was the same last June! Was walking round Tesco 3 days post op. Walked through town to get ice cream day 5. Took the dogs for a gentle beach walk 2 weeks pp on husbands last day to paternity leave. I bled for 3 weeks. Deffo having a C-section for my next
I was the same, but a week after me feeling good i ended up with a wound infection 😩
I was the exact same as you. I kept forgetting that I've had a section. I wanted to get back behind the wheel and just doing normal things again but I kept getting reminded that I need to take it easy etc. I hated it as I felt like I was capable of doing things again but no one would let me
