Just out of curiosity what do you wipe her face with? My little one sometimes gets a rash very similar to this when I use wet wipes on her face... But not every time I use them, which is why it took me forever to figure out it was the wet wipes causing it. If it's an allergic reaction it is often accompanied by discomfort, diarrhea or mucus/blood in stool (not always, but in most cases), so you should see other signs if it's an allergic reaction to food!
@Rhiannon while eating I use kitchen roll, today I used a baby wipe but I’ve used them on her face before lots and no issues , she is fine in herself no weird bowel movements etc, It just makes me worry so much I hate it :( I hate weaning !! I don’t get it ! It’s still not gone down but she’s asleep now
Honestly some babies just get random rashes 🤦♀️ it can be so worrying I totally get it but keep an eye out for any other allergy symptoms and if you're really worried you could ring 111 or seek advice from GP in the morning! Weaning is so scary - and it is horrible when they come up all blotchy. If it is any reassurance to you, my little one always comes up blotchy after a banana but I spoke to our health visitor about it and they told me not to worry if not paired with any other symptoms! It'll get easier with time honestly - I feed her anything and everything now when I used to be terrified in the beginning! X
This happened to my baby when I gave him apple slices which I know isn’t an allergen. I wiped his face with cotton pads with water and a bit of dettol theme followed up with sudocream and an hour later it was gone. I’ve given him apple multiple times since then and it hasn’t happened again. So strange 😩
Excuse the sudeocream
