Changing trust

Hi I'm moving counties during my mat leave and had been planning to commute for the 3 months of my notice period which would also qualify me for the NHS maternity pay. However, a job has come up which would have a start date around the time I was planning to rtw so I would need to hand my notice in whilst still on mat leave. My question is do I still get the pay for the 6 weeks accrued AL if I don't go back to the same trust? Hope that makes sense 🙈

Not sure I’m understanding your question but if you have accrued AL whilst on mat leave you’ll need to take this before you start with your new job. So factor those 6 weeks in to your notice period, I.e the last 6 weeks of your notice you’d be on AL.

And yes you’ll be paid for those, you are still entitled to them.
