Walks are great when you have littles. My daughter always slept best after a walk. That’s how we survivors the newborn phase tbh. She’s 16 months old now and walking on her own, so our walks are usually shorter but she loves looking at the plants and waving at other people and cars. If you need to ease into working out, yoga and Pilates are great and there are work outs you can do with your little. Pregnancy and Postpartum TV on YouTube is my favorite.
Just going to a park or open area outside, beach ...Just starting small with littles you don't have to do much especially in nature, they'll just start exploring themselves listening to sounds, touching twigs leaves, sand, flowers it's fun watching them explore. Put a blanket down and just relax. Bubbles are always a good addition as they get older
To add in a light workout sometimes they offer baby momma yoga at the parks
I love taking my son to creeks and lakes in the summer. Camping is a great option and if you like/feel safe bringing her kayaking or canoeing kids absolutely love it. Of course always pack lots of mineral sunscreen, water, and always wear life jackets. Teaching my son how to identify plants (edible and poisonous) has been really great as well. You can do that on any walking trail. Fishing as well. Picnics, outdoor finger painting, looking at the ducks and geese (please don't feed them because it can be really detrimental to their health), getting involved with kids programs at your nature center or conservation department, stuff like that. I hope this helps!
