Daycare anxiety

I’m worried about my kid as when I picked him up once he was crying when they were outside and ran to me crying. The Ece said it was cause my kid saw me coming but it wouldn’t have been possible to, she was lying. Something happened now I’m triggered and upset because my kid isn’t talking can’t tell me what happened. I feel anxiety that what if things are happening to upset my kid all throughout the day and I’ll never know as the teachers cover up and my kid doesn’t talk.

I just wonder what goes on behind closed doors sometimes. Anyone else?

How old is he

@Kisha 2.5 years

When you say you're kid's not talking, do you mean your kid is non verbal or they aren't telling you what was wrong that day? If they can talk, I'd just ask them if they had a good daycare day/what they did today (I ask my 28 month old every day). I also would ask if they like (insert name of ece). What communication did you have with the ECE about tugboat event? If you don't trust the place/feel like you can't communicate with them look for somewhere else.

How long have they been in childcare for ? And being 2 and half is he in the preschool room?

@Melissa hi Melissa, He is talking a bit but he’s a bit delayed in speech. He’s not capable of telling me about what upset him in the day. He just has basic language skills. He doesn’t say good or bad yet or anything like that. When I asked the ece she just said he cried when he saw me coming, but I know that’s not possible to see me coming.

@Denise 2 months, he’s in a mixed room with preschool and toddlers
