PCOS advice…?

I got officially diagnosed with PCOS mid 2023 when we were trying for our last baby, lost weight got pregnant. Now baby is 9 months old and well… I got my after birth period at like 5weeks PP, all was fine and normal up until November… I had my period stop the very beginning of November and it didn’t come back until THIS WEEK. I’m 3 days in. Going by my app that I’ve used since before I had my oldest, I was 49 days late. What on earth changed??

Are you breastfeeding? Bc my period hasn’t came back in months since my girl was about 7-8 weeks old and she’s now 10 months old. Breastfeeding can throw your period off until after you stop nursing if you are.

Inositol!

I don’t know how you would feel about it but I have an herbal blend for PCOS. I can post it in the comments if you’d like.sorry not much help for the period but I do have this!

@Meagan I’m interested in it

I also have PCOS and many of my friends have been diagnosed with it too. As someone in health care research (and as a patient), I find the state of the research on this horribly behind. My doc said it’s because this type of condition has mostly been ignored for decades. You may want to see a specialist, but I wouldn’t expect a primary care provider to be knowledgeable about PCOS. The supplements mentioned in the comments are one of the only options available to address it.
