Bottle

Hey ladies, So after much thought I've decided to try and move my breat feeding baby onto the bottle as I'm absolutely exhausted and he is feeding still every hour at nearly 4 months old. My problem is he used to like the MAM bottles as I used to express my milk and he'd take it and now he just won't have them with formula in. Can anyone recommend any ideas to try and get him to take.formula? Im one tired momma

Following cause my little boy is exactly the same! And I need some sort of routine as I'm back at work a couple of evenings later on in the month. He also used to take the MAM bottles but now won't! I've just ordered some Lansinoh teats as I believe they fit on the MAM bottles so hoping that will make a difference xx

Dr Browns was good when mine refused the mam ones at 10 weeks

One thing you could try is mixing some expressed milk with the formula. I did this with my first baby so it was more familiar then reduced the breast milk over time so she got used to it. I was just getting her to take 1 bottle a day though.

Maybe try the faster teet on the mam bottles as formula is thicker than breast milk so baby might just be struggling to get it quickly x

I use lansinoh bottles when combi feeding now he’s fully bottle fed he still has them. They were best to avoid nipple confusion when I was breastfeeding, so your little man might take to those better if he is being weaned from the breast!
