This was me a couple of weeks ago, my partner the same but he’s come round the idea our little one is 1 year 6 months! Close in age growing up but I was terrified, even had an appointment at the clinic but didn’t go through with it! Now I am 9 weeks 5 days. I told my partner I didn’t feel comfortable doing it and he was supportive and now we are both excited to meet our new little one! Everything happens for a reason in life. Mine said 3+ weeks and I think at the scan a week later I was 7 weeks 5 days! Congratulations and good luck ❤️❤️

Congratulations the age gap will be beautiful:) !!!! Me and my husband decided to try for baby number 3 as the first born is 16.5 years older than our 18 month old I don’t think my husband expected we would get pregnant 1st time trying !!! But I did and I’m now 20+3 weeks I don’t think it’s still sunk in as weve still not purchased a single thing yet!!!! And we will be having him in May I’m so excited that my 18 month old will have a little brother to play and grow up with , the bond between my 18 year old and 18month old is amazing but I’m glad he’s gonna have someone closer to his age as the daughter will be moving out when she’s ready to and I don’t want him to feel like the only child x

You were not trying but neither stopping it 😂 your husband would know that too, congratulations! Tell him or leave those tests around, in case he asks “are you sure?” You have 3 to show 💪🏻❤️

Congratulations! It’s a big shock but wonderful news! I am also due in May and my little one is nearly 19 months. It’s awesome that you can have a sibling. But understand what a wobble it is. My partner was in denial for two months after I told him. Now he is super excited.

He should have been doing something about it if he wasn’t keen on the idea. Tell him straight up and go from there. Congratulations:)

Thank you all so much! I really needed that. I’ve not been on the pill for about 6 months for various reasons and he knows that too. We’ve been using the “pull out method” 🙈 I keep telling my that on some level he does want another but he just doesn’t want to admit it 😂 He’s away at the minute but comes back tomorrow so will wait until he’s back. Just can’t believe it… although not on contraception so know that’s a stupid thing to say but just can’t! Thank you all again 😘😘
