Advice

My 3 week old babygirl has been crying on and off not like the usual newborn type thing but like if we hold her she cries if we put her down she keeps crying we try feeding her she doesn’t want it she sleeping less and just seems bothered I’ve tried everything to make sure she’s comfortable like making sure she’s not to hot or cold or shes doesn’t have a dirty diaper has anyone dealt with this? Is this the begging stages of colic?

It does sound a bit like trapped wind. Have you tried giving her gripe water or infacol? Also try something like this - https://youtu.be/b8L79e69Yhk?si=GYluZGkzzqvFt24w

I would recommend baby massage, warm bath and colic calm. Gripe water cannot be given to babies who are less than 4 weeks old

Growth spurt maybe ? They usually go through one around that time. Or maybe she’s gassy idk. I had a gassy baby so she would just be crying nonstop but luckily she knows how to pass gas now

Baby chiropractic and infant probiotic would be great long term care plan if baby is colicky

I would not recommend giving her any medicine... it does sound colicky which is a very hard time. I would do exercises to release gas (rotating legs, bicycle legs, stretch legs up and down) get the gas out. Burp her even if it takes a long time. Warmness on the belly to relax it (my husband put rice in a glove & warms it up in the microwave, then lays it on her belly)

But colic lasted a while with my baby, and even though we progressively got the gas out he was still uncomfortable so allow yourself to a bunch of cuddles for comfort 🥹

Hang in there mama it'll past

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism
