@𝒵𝒶𝓇𝒶 ♡ ̆̈ Thanks so lovely of you to share your idea, I really loved it 🤩 I will also try something from Amazon, as we don't have so many friends and family in UK, it's bit disappointing but I want to light up my boy's first birthday and make a beautiful memory of it
Also look on Facebook. People are either selling or giving away birthday decorations. The dollar store has stuff you can make your own too!
@Jenn It's an amazing idea, will sure check the FB and Amazon. That's so thoughtful of you to start now, your little one's birthday decor 😍 I bet he definitely loves it 💗
Ask friends and family to help too! I have a creative sister in law and my mom loves making. She’s making him a football smash cake and football cupcakes for everyone else.
@Jenn unfortunately I don't have any family or friends in the UK 😔 that's the reason I don't know what to do, few friends but that too my husband's friends, I didn't have any friend of my own
You don’t have to do anything big! A few decorations and a smash cake (which can be home made or even a cupcake) and that’s all you need.
@Jenn can my baby eat the cake, should the cake be different from the cake adults eat or the baby can eat the same cake as us. I know baking a cake
Yup they can eat the cake! Just everything in moderation. We are doing a separate small smash cake for our son and making cupcakes for everyone else. Obviously he won’t be eating it all. It’s more for the pictures than anything 😂
@Jenn awh 🥰 that's lovely 😍
Im doing “where the wild ones are/wild one” theme. I don’t have a big space so Im hosting it in my complex’s dining hall which is $50 refundable. I’m spending about $50 on decorations from Amazon and reusing some stuff from my baby shower. I designed my own invitation on canva. And I’m figuring out food/snacks now but my goal is to spend under $75
