Biting while breastfeeding
My little one has just had her first tooth cut through (last week). Pretty much everyday she has bitten me at least once. Just little nips, but a bit painful. Often accompanied by a cheeky grin. Obviously this is not something I want to encourage. Has anyone experienced this… any suggestions?

Both my babies have done this. It’s a phase and will pass. I’ve just pushed boob closer to baby if he bites and he will instantly let go
I do the same as Emma. I don’t know what’s worse, the anticipation of a nip, or the nip and she doesn’t do it aggressively but it still sends a jolt. It’s only a pin prick but it gets me!
Thanks all! Yeah the anticipation of the nips is a thing for sure… hopefully it will indeed pass.

Hey my eldest did this a lot. Every time she bit me I would take her off my boob and tell her no it took a few days but once she realised I’d take her off my boob if she bit me she stopped
