Breast Milk Off?
I’ve been trying to pump once a day and have my partner feed our 5 month daughter. Been pumping in the evening whilst my partner feeds her and then she has the pumped milk the next evening. We were 3 days in and then my partner didn’t end up sticking to it on the weekend so this milk has been sitting in the fridge for 3 days (since Friday evening). Do I just need to do a sniff test? I originally sterilised the bottle in a microwave sterliser and left the bottle in there until I put the milk in (bottle still wet but sterile). Is this the correct thing to do? I sterilise the bottles about an hour before my partner comes home. My fridge is apparently 2 degrees and I store at the back of the fridge.

This just needs a roll, it's the fat from your milk settled. Along as in the 4 days I would say it's fine. Xx
If it smells ok then it's fine. I follow the 6-6-6 rule, 6 hours at room temp, 6 days in fridge, 6 months in freezer. It's just the fat on top. I've got one in the fridge that looks the exact same! Give it a good shake and it will be fine

By the 4th day milk is bad remember u can use it for baths or other things but before u fill again make sure you stererlise again
