Transitioning to whole milk

I know I don’t have to yet but curious about transitioning to whole milk. My baby has been formula fed and he still drinks about 24-28oz a day. He’s been a picky eater and I’m trying to get him to eat more. Which he’s starting to. I feed him about 3 meals a day. I feel like he still gets a lot of his nutrients with the formula. He also falls asleep drinking his bottles. I’m not sure what to do. Or how many times a day do they drink whole milk. Any advice would be appreciated.

My son is a breastfed baby but he lean himself off right when he turned 11 months. Now he just has one breast bottle to nap about 7oz. He had 3 solid meals and with one of meals i give 4oz milk till he gets used to it

Same, my baby is 1 in 5 days and she still drinks about 32 oz formula and gets most of her nutrition from formula. I offer food 3x but she eats very little still!

We do 2 meals a day with 3 bottles of 6oz whole milk. We slowly transitioned to milk though with his formula. He gets breastfed still on demand. His daycare schedule is similar but gets 3 meals and 3 bottles of 4oz of milk. Breastfed once during the day there.
