Hey mumma’s, how do you feel with mat leave coming to an end, are you planning to put your baby into a nursery straight away? Are you expected to go back to work?😣

I went back to work full time last week and little one had started nursery 2 days a week. It’s a crazy old time adjusting but I think in the long run it will be ok. My little one has settled into nursery so we’ll and absolutely loves it. I know she will learn so much by being there! Work / balance is tough though. You just have to do what you have to do 🤍

I’m going back in March, LG will be in nursery two days a week and then my mum and mother in law have her the other two days, I’m fortunate enough to only work 4 days a week. I’m dreading it but also will be nice to get back to feeling like me again

I’m back in May and will be dropping to 4 days a week, dreading it but needs must. LB will be in nursery 2 days and a day with each set of grandparents

I don’t think i’ll be going back to work until baby can go preschool. I worked in nurseries before and had a bad experience in all of them. Can’t fathom the idea of putting my child through that 😬😬

@Eleni lucky you to be able to do that 😁 although probably not the kindest comment to make on a post about nurseries where a woman might not have a choice.

@Alice I hope work is going well for you and it’s amazing to hear your little one has settled into nursery, I can imagine it must of been hard sending them off to nursery at the start. Yeah I can imagine how tough it is, you’re doing amazing though! ❤️

@Diana 2 days a week is great and also having that support from your mum/mother in law is fantastic, just what you need. Hopefully things will go well for you when you go back to work, may be tough to start off with but like you said it will be nice to feel like you again 🥰 good luck x

@Amy You’ve got this Amy💪🏼 we have to do this for our little ones don’t we. Glad your little one will be going into nursery and also having that support from grandparents x

@Eleni It’s great you’ll be able to have some quality time with your little one. Yeah I totally understand, I’ve worked in nurseries too and have seen what it’s like. Luckily not all nurseries are like that. If I could, I’d love to stay at home with my little one, but I’ll need to work and provide for my family ☺️ x
