Could be aby grunting syndrome, also known as infant dyschezia, is a common condition that causes babies to grunt, strain, and cry while having a bowel movement.
Mine is exactly the same been doing it for weeks😭
I’ve got the same issue with my 4 week old! Don’t know what to do, she’ll grunt to even fart , and cry in her sleep and tense up
Mine is the same. It could also be that they have abdominal colic , I’ve spoken to a gp about it and it seems to be a very common thing among babies and there isn’t one or two defined things that trigger it. So they just have to grow out of it

I’m having the same problem with my 5 week old, seems very uncomfortable! I’m going Tesco today to buy some infacol just incase he’s struggling with trapped wind xx
