Hemorrhage a second time?

I lost 1.4L of blood during my csection in June. We want to start trying for another baby this year. Am i likely to hemorrhage a second time because I did the first or is it literally luck?

I had a C section, all went ok and was told to give my body at least 12 months before trying again. 🤷‍♀️ Although I'm happily waiting anyway 🤣

Honestly luck of the draw, everything could go perfectly next time! But I'd definitely try to not fall until 12-18 months pp to give your body chance of full recovery x

It won’t be until later on in the year, so i’ll be 12 months pp atleast x

Its luck i lost 4 pints of blood (we have 7 pints in our body) during 1st labour and 2nd was really smooth sailing. You may have consultant led care 2nd time though

I lost 3.5 of blood told me to wait at least 3 year x

@Ashley you don't have to wait due to blood loss, especially not 3 years. Your body has already recovered from that loss of blood from the transfusion. Is there any other reason? Like any other complication? I mean I lost over half my blood, got a cervical tear and got high blood pressure leading to being under 72hr watch post birth and was still told I would be ok getting pregnant if I wanted to (I didn't but they still said i could)
