Informing work about pregnancy

I told mine at 4/5 weeks I work 12 hour shifts and I have a good relationship with them xx I think it all depends on your situation and if you feel comfortable xx I thought it was good for them to know for support xx

I told them at 17 weeks. I think you have to legally tell them within 14 weeks of your due date, but the rest is up to you!

I wanna say between 10-12 weeks because of the random appointments coming in, the morning sickness and the fact that I can’t lift much. I’m a very private person so I only told my boss at the time. I am now 15 weeks today! 🙌🏽

After my 12 week scan i told my work

You have to by law tell them by 25 weeks I think. I told my boss after 12 week scan and screening results came back. I ‘officially’ told work at 20 weeks (after that scan). I caveat this with I work in an office and sit down all day. If I had been doing something more physical /potentially dangerous I would have told people earlier

I told mine about 7 weeks because I was really sick and needed them to be a bit more understanding if I was off or coming in late- had to run out etc but it’s up to you when you feel comfortable!

I told mine at 4 weeks as I was susceptible to a miscarriage so wanted her to be aware in case the worst happened, I think whenever you’re comfortable telling them as they’ll wanna do a risk assessment to make sure you and baby are safe and won’t be harmed at work
