Feeding times

Hello ☺️ I have noticed my baby has started to go longer between feeds in the day, it was every 2 hours (very hungry baby!) but he seems to be going past the 3 hour mark now. Do you wait until you see signs of hunger from your baby to feed them or are you feeding them every 3/4 hours as routine? For example, he was due a bottle half hour ago but he doesn’t seem to be asking for it.

I usually feed around 3/3.5 hours in the day, my baby isn’t really one for cues he can be sound asleep and then all of a sudden wake up crying for his bottle so I try not to go too far over that because then I get stressed hearing him so sad when I’m rushing to do a bottle! At night he goes around 7 hours though x

I wait for her to let me know she's hungry but if it starts getting too long, I'll wake her

My 8 week old usually feeds every 3 hours, if he doesn’t wake up or ask for milk then I change his nappy at the 4hr mark and he usually acts hungry & has a feed. He sometimes goes 5/6 hours over night too xx

I just wait for cues from my baby. If they are hungry they will let us know. I do record feed times though so I’m always aware of how long it’s been and know that he could need a feed soon

My son is 10 weeks and feeds every 3 hours during the day. He can go 4/5 hours at night. I feed on demand x
