Drinks for hospital?

What are we all packing drink wise in our hospital bags? Some have recommended lucozade sport, others have recommended normal lucozade, stuck on what to pack!

I have packed normal energy drinks but the best thing after birth is tea and toast Ligit I loved it with my first

I’ve gone with Sport mainly because I’m thinking I won’t want to be burping and pushing 😂 but isotonic is recommended for energy I believe!

I did sport last time but threw it up pretty swiftly on gas and air. I’d just tag team it with water

I took lucozade sport last time and as others have said, was sick. So maybe something that won't upset your stomach. I think I'm sticking with water this time around.

Interesting about being sick! With my first I had only water, then I was given some of the orange juice that the hospital always has and my son came out on the next push 😂 so I’ll be trying that again!

Coconut water as I don't like fizzy drinks.

Took raspberry Lucozade sport last time but threw that up pretty quick after using the gas and air so ended up sipping water I am taking the Lucozade again this time but rather than drinking it quick like I was I plan on just sipping as I go if not water again for me

Ribena has been my constant craving this pregnancy so I’ve got some bottles of that to take!

Coconut water xx

I got lucozade sport. I thought the fizzy stuff had caffeine in it and I wanted to avoid that. But I didn’t actually check.

My midwife advised lucozade sport as it’s not as fizzy as the normal. Also to avoid drinks with high artificial sugar content.

Lucozade sport and coconut water x
