Bath time

I had one of those suction seats that my babe would sit in and now he locks his legs so I can’t slide him in. And he wants to be loose. Bath time with out the seat is so hard he’s all over the place and I have one hand in him the whole time. What is bath time like for you?

I get inside the bathtub during bath time so it’s fun :)

I just don’t fill it very much at all so he can safely crawl around in there and obviously watch like a hawk the entire time lol. I let him play for a bit and then he is more willing to let me use a cup to wash him off.

Yep my girl is similar. I’m starting to set boundaries around her standing up in the bath though. When she stands up I say, “nope, we sit in the bath tub”. If she does it again I say “okay, you’re standing up! So we are going to get out of the bath. We sit in the bath” She doesn’t get it yet, but I’m hoping over time she realizes what’s safe and what isn’t 😅 I basically have to sit and watch her the whole time so she doesn’t try standing and slipping all over

I have a rubber bath Matt so he doesn’t slip and a bunch of bath toys he pretty much entertains himself playing with the toys and splashing around . I mean occasionally he will stand and I will just redirect and set him back down but those moments he stands is when I wash his bottom half .
