SAMEEE!! And the pediatrician looked at me like I was doing something wrong
We’re at 13 months and still doing the same. Exclusively breastfeeding, he stopped taking a bottle at 3 months. He’s actually waking up over night now for feedings too😅😅
We do straw cups and open cups. Milk with breakfast and lunch and a bottle at bedtime (slowly weaning him off the bedtime bottle) water for the rest of the day. We like the hippypotomus silicone cups and just a regular cup with lid and straw. My son hated the 360 cup because he was biting it while trying to drink and it was stopping the flow. We also use the Dr browns straw cups for school because they’re spill proof but he does have to suck on it harder because of the no-spill valve.
We’re only doing milk 2x a day at wake up and before bed. We started my little girl on a straw cup for water around 9 mos, so that was helpful in transitioning her off of the bottle. Prior to 12 mos, we were also giving snacks throughout the day between meals and bottles. She, thankfully, transitioned from bottles to meals really easily. Maybe giving more snacks throughout the day will help keep her full. Or maybe give her water instead of milk to see if that helps.
We nurse 2x a day and take one bottle that is half whole milk and half breast milk. Working on the transition to whole milk!
The first 3 days were hell. Lots of crying and fighting and then that was it. Best thing my mom did for me, get her off the boob and onto milk
We’re not on boob. She’s does watered down whole milk in bottle a few times a day. Just trying to figure out what cup she’ll transition to easiest. She likes a good flow, not these suck your brains out sippy cups. I tried to drink from the to see how they are and some of them are insanely hard to pull anything through
I'm still giving him the formula until it's all gone. No sense in wasting it. That's maybe once or twice a day when I feel too lazy or depressed to whip something up. I'm easing him into lactose free milk too. As long as his lil tummy is full & happy.
We do milk as our son wants sometimes that’s as little as 2-3 times a day to as often as ever few hours. We are on a sippy it was a difficult 2 days but once he got used to it that was that and he’s been on one since about 10 months
