Transitioning from pumping to formula

HELP. I’m hoping to transition from pumping to feeding with formula due to mental health deteriorating. We use MAM bottles and I’ve checked everything on YouTube and online about how to warm up the bottles properly once you have made some up and stored them in the fridge. I don’t have a bottle warmer (looking at getting one) and need to warm the formula made up bottles but the MAM bottles have the anti-colic holes at the bottom of them and I’m worried they will let hot water in if I try and submerge them in hot water to warm them up.

I’ve transitioned from pumping to formula for both of mine around a year old and it was a smooth transition because they liked the taste of the formula and also there was no need to warm it up. They easily drink it at room temperature.

@Philomena she wants to store in fridge to prep ahead so she will need sit bottle in warm water by boiling or bottle warmer

@Nai How do I do this with the MAM bottles?

You could warm it up in another vessel and then transfer it to the bottle. I haven't used the name vessels, but I could see water getting in the holes. You could always experiment with water with food color dye in the bottle and water you are using to warm up with another color to see if they mix.

Take the lid and teat off entirely when dunking the MAM bottle in water. This stops the boiling water from travelling up the holes at the bottom when it heats up (due to suction).

I have a mam bottle and only the bottom gets warm for some reason. I found Phillip avent bottles to be better.
