Council housing application been changed from 2 to 3 bed?

It seems that they’ve made an error or they have you and your partner as separate adults and not together in a relationship as children share for a long time

Did you apply for an additional room?

@Bella that’s what I was thinking because I’ve only just added my partner on my application we are both teen parents and it was just gonna be me moving out with the kids until he saves some money but now he’s decided he will move in straight away but I did add him as a joint applicant x

Usually they bump you up to 3 if you have 3 children. It’ll be overcrowded, but not for 2kids and set of parents. Call them up if you haven’t asked for an additional room x

Yeah I’d contact them because they’ll always be quick enough saying you lied. Not saying you did but that’s unfortunately the first thing they’d accuse you of. We as a couple have two current children same sex entitled to 2-3 bed need. I haven’t told them about my pregnancy yet as it doesnt effect my application until he’s here then it will change to a 3bed need

@Tiffany yeh it’s typical they’d want to blame me aha I can imagine that. I have emailed my housing officer he should reply tomorrow as much as a 3 bed would be amazing there’s no point bidding on them and not saying anything about it just for it to be a waste of time when they realise I’m not suppose to be entitled to them 😩xx
