When to do Tummy time?

I have been doing tummy time around once a day with my 2 month old. Is this typical/less? Struggling to find awake windows when she is awake + in a good mood. When do you do tummy time with your LO?

I just wing it bc like you said when they’re in a good mood AND awake is hard to schedule. I put them on a tummy time pillow more and more everyday but actually putting them on a tummy time mat is a different story. I just try to incorporate it whenever I find the time and can! Also if my baby gets mad I don’t pick him up right away! I let him get a little mad and it helps him roll over (as long as it’s not red face tears streaming kinda mad yk? More like fussy I guess!)

baby wearing is also tummy time

It’s recommended to do 30mins to 1hour of tummy time a day. Can be 5-10 minutes at a time. Not saying I do that every day😅😂 I try doing it anytime I need to get stuff done and he’s awake. I’ll just lay him on the floor in his room and he likes looking at the light up floor mat piano

So, with my 3 month old, I do a 2-3 rounds of tummy time. Each one for at least 15 minutes or until she starts crying. But keep in mind, when baby is on your chest getting snuggles, that's also considered tummy time. So I'll be you're doing just enough!

We do tummy time all the time! Mostly laying on our chests but I’ve started doing on the floor with a pillow or on the bed at least once a day.

Do your babies actually like it? My baby hates it lol

My lo will be 3 months this Friday, tummy time is still a struggle for us. We do tummy time through out the day and evening. 5 mins here and there. Sometimes only 3. He hates tummy time. But when he is on my chest, he loves it and stay there for hrs.
