Yup - perfect parent in front of camera or other people, even jumped in their play pen and holding them during a house inspection during our rental.. behind closed doors did absolutely nothing for them, would call my oldest (now almost 3yo) a narcissist/r***rd/idiot for essentially being a kid, if they came up to him for some attention and tried to climb on him he’d say something to the effect of “it’s called personal space - learn it” and push them away or “don’t touch my d**k, it’s just weird bro” if they touched his LEG. Got possessive/weird about me bf/showering with them. I left in November, they haven’t seen or had contact with him since and the improvement I’ve seen in such a short amount of time is astounding! They’re generally happier, have less tantrums, better sleep/less wake ups, developmentally they’ve also come along way and they don’t even call out for him (no words of dada) or seem to miss him. I honestly regret staying as long as I did
@Sharnee oh my days do you have a camera to my life? This proves that narcissist have the same traits. Bless you babes
It’s not easy. Sending you love & strength mama ❤️
I have a narcissist father that I'm no contact with and had to accept this!
It’s sad but true 💔 ( I have a narc bd ) & I noticed all these bad traits when I learned & heard similar stories / experiences/ situations that I could relate too, experiencing & still currently living ( feeling stuck & scared but looking for ways to set myself up so that I’m capable of being a solo parent & hopefully get full custody if it comes to that ) no narc parent deserves their child in their care
