My toddler has always been a pretty good eater. He’s gone through phases when he’s been a little fussier but at the moment he’ll barely eat his dinner. He insists he doesn’t like it and not eating some of his favourite foods. At the moment he’ll eat a few mouthfuls at most and obviously asking for snacks constantly. Has anyone else been through this lately? I feel like maybe the Xmas period has made him worse and he’s had too many sweet things.
Apparently it’s normal around this age. My daughter is the same, some day she eats well some days not so much, but she drinks lots of milk.
I once ask health visitors about it and they say to look at it from a week perspective and not a one daily basis. If they don’t eat much at all within a week then that’s when you should be worry
My little girl is more fussy than she used to be. She still loves food most days but it's more about the food she will eat now compared to when she was two. Hardly any veg etc now even if I try and hide it 🙈
