Screaming kid
My 13 month old has started screaming as loud as he can any time he doesn't get what he wants. How do I teach him to react in another way?

@Anna so do ignore them when they're screaming or just repeatedly tell them no?
@Caitlin I usually went with repeat the no then try and distract them. I found acknowledging what they wanted then repeating the no helped too.

Let him learn that screaming doesn't work. My kid went through a brief stint of that too. My solution was stick to my no. Babies learn very fast what works and what doesn't. Don't give him anything when he screams. Teach him how to sign please to get what he wants.
