I feel like day 5 embryos are preferable to day 6, even if day 6 is rated better. The outcome stats are similar though (and I’ve had successes and failures with both). I’d trust the embryologist when they say you have a better chance with one over the other.
Mine was a 5bc or 5cb and I’m currently 29 weeks pregnant. The previous transfer that didn’t work was a much better grading. I wouldn’t get too caught up on the grades, just try to keep as positive as you can x
I am pregnant 20 weeks with a day 5 3BB….. overnight after thawed it grew into a 4AB so there is chance for the grading to change after thawing. I was so shocked when they told me I was convinced it was someone else’s Lol. They told me it continues to grow once thawed that’s why they favour the 5 day over the 6. I also had a 6 day 4AB. That was after a failed transfer, miscarriage, and ectopic pregnancy each with 4AAs so I understand the worry. Personally and based on my experience I don’t put a ton of stock in the grading since 4AA PGTA tested failed, and the 3BB may end up my success story 🤞 But what they freeze it as isn’t necessarily what it is when they “shoot it in” lol Keep in mind it’s also just a beauty contest too and making sure it’s PGT tested is generally considered a better indicator. Good luck !!!
My 4BC embryo stuck 💕
Not all the clinics use the same grading system, some grade from a to c and others from a to d, do not get to stress about it. If the embryologist decided to freeze it is because they trust it can survive and implant. Btw, I'm an embryologist doing her first fet next month!
