Tried that, was holding her for ever longer than 30mins. She wakes up every single time and just screams. It has been 3 hours now and I just don’t know what to do.
Try putting her down atleast 15 minutes after she’s fallen asleep so she’s in a deep sleep! My boy is poorly and doing the exact same thing, it’s a nightmare!
I want to start by saying you got this! I'm not sure how helpful this will be but maybe using the questions below as a soundboard can help narrow it down 🤞. How was she before the last 4 nights? Was she easily settled previously? Are you trying sleep training or new methods? Did something change with her feeds or anything else? Can you identify the type of scream or is it similar to any of her other cries? Sorry if its not much help and I hope she settles down soon.
My LO has been doing this for the last couple of weeks, we co sleep but she is constantly waking and crying if I don't stay with her even just going to the toilet. No issues with naps during the day. I think it's because of teething, I am just having to go to bed with her but she still wakes up crying.
Could’ve written this myself as my son is the exact same and has been doing this for the last few weeks. We tried the Ferber method last night and he was down within half an hour rather than the hour battle it has been x
Maybe try holding her for 30 minutes till she’s in a deep sleep and then transfer to the crib? I’m sorry mama, wish you all the best I know this is so hard!
