Baby shower

My friends baby shower is Feb 8th. I’m due the 22nd but it’s looking like I’m having her early. If I have her by then do I bring her or no?

🤷 that's a tough one. If this is your first, I would say wait and see how you're feeling.

If it were me I probably wouldn’t. RSV is running rampant right now, I had my baby shower at the end of December and I wound up catching it somehow to me it’s just not worth the risk.

@Danielle I also got sick after my Dec baby shower. I’m leaning towards no. I also don’t want to steal attention from her ya know?

Yeah that makes sense too. It sounds like based off the timeline your birth would be pretty fresh too so I feel like it would be understandable if you just didn’t go. But then again if you felt up to it you could just go for a little bit and leave your baby with dad if it’s an option.

Not worth the risk. If she’s your friend she’ll understand ❤️

No ma’am

You don’t want everyone around your baby right, you do not want her to be exposed to sickness aswell as yourself and they will understand that protect you and your baby

With my first, my best friend had her baby on Dec 4th, and my shower was Dec 10th, and she didn’t go nor did I expect her to!!! She JUST had a baby! 😂 I went to see her in the hospital after she delivered, and then several more times in Dec whenever she wanted, and then when I had my baby in January, she brought me a whole big goodie basket too and we saw each other often with our new little babies 🥰
