My little boy has only just come out the colic trenches at 6 months old, and we tried everything. We don’t have a support system where we live, but if you have that, lean on it! Things we tried - We kept him upright for 30 minutes (sometimes longer) after feeds, colic drops which made him worse, gaviscon (made him constipated) so we stopped that, gripe water helped a little, I also tried cutting dairy out of my diet as he is EBF, that made a slight difference to his discomfort but nothing drastic. Things that soothed him were warm baths and swaying/rocking him in the kitchen whilst singing Disney and country music to him. If you need to vent or have any questions feel free to message me 🫶🏻✨
Also struggling 🥺🥺
Mines was caused by silent reflux and a dairy intolerance. It was HELL!!! he is 16 months now and a lot better than he was but I know how awful it is. It's mentally debilitating xxx
Gosh I remember those days they were so hard ! I wish I’d taken mine to a naturopath as they can do gut health testings from 6 weeks I believe. Getting the right probiotic helped ! And then cutting out foods that didn’t agree with him, which was soy, banana, nuts, eggs, dairy from my diet 🙃
@Alex Bless your heart, it can be so hard and lonely at times. Feel free to send me a message if you need someone to chat to 🫶🏻✨
