Anyone else’s baby having really bad colic and/or reflux issues ? If so please send some tips. I’m currently combo feeding (mainly breastfeeding) my 6 weeks old and she can’t seem to keep anything down, very fussy and very colicky. We was prescribed Gavison but we are yet to see if it works 🤞🏾

My little boy has only just come out the colic trenches at 6 months old, and we tried everything. We don’t have a support system where we live, but if you have that, lean on it! Things we tried - We kept him upright for 30 minutes (sometimes longer) after feeds, colic drops which made him worse, gaviscon (made him constipated) so we stopped that, gripe water helped a little, I also tried cutting dairy out of my diet as he is EBF, that made a slight difference to his discomfort but nothing drastic. Things that soothed him were warm baths and swaying/rocking him in the kitchen whilst singing Disney and country music to him. If you need to vent or have any questions feel free to message me 🫶🏻✨

Also struggling 🥺🥺

Mines was caused by silent reflux and a dairy intolerance. It was HELL!!! he is 16 months now and a lot better than he was but I know how awful it is. It's mentally debilitating xxx

Bless your heart, it can be so hard and lonely at times. Feel free to send me a message if you need someone to chat to 🫶🏻✨

We had such a hard time with my now 6 month old, when he was newborn, I really feel for you, it really tainted my experience as a mummy. Gaviscon didn't work for us, milk thickener (carobel) did work but caused constipation. In the end he was prescribed medication but that's a real last resort. All I can say is it honestly does come to an end and I promise it gets better. Sit upright for 30 min after feeds and little and often feeds instead of bigger ones x
