Try the oatmeal bath but also mix a little baby powder in the bath as well let her soak or play in it for about 15 min or so that’s what my daughters pediatrician recommended when my daughters got like that also would recommend aquaphor
My 17 month old daughter is the same..we recently tried the oatmeal lotion from Aldi and it works wonders on her skin.
I’m sorry, I know how you feel. We were going through it as well. The ONLY thing that worked for us was seeing a pediatric dermatologist. We were prescribed Protopic for her face and Triamcinolone for her body.
My son was pretty bad at one point where his doctor finally just prescribed something stronger and much more effective. It’s called mometasone. He still gets his flare ups now but nowhere near as bad and honestly just gets worse with extreme drop in temperature. I use aquaphor every day, it helps a lot. Have you had any tips from her pediatrician possibly?
You have tik tok? Look up Barbara O’Neil baby eczema, eliminate dairy wheat and refined sugar from your daughter’s diet. I did it with my kids and it went away. Those 3 things are extremely inflammatory and contribute to eczema
My son has the same problem but his pediatrician just said it’s dryness 🧐 we’ve been trying the Dove lotion for eczema and it’s not that effective.
This is my daughter, where do you live? I need to run a humidifier every night or else she scratches a lot. I assume you are already using everything unscented and have no fragrances at home.
We use tallow for her skin and it helps but I’m about to try a cbd lotion that is supposed to be the cure, I’ll report on that later.
I’d fire that pediatrician, @Salma
There is a thyme solution I buy online that is the only thing that has dramatically improved her eczema but you need to apply it all day
Please don’t use baby powder smh
@Virginia not a pediatrician
Sorry @salma I meant @Sandra should fire her pediatrician, clearly is not interested in the root of the problem
I have eczema the only product that works for me is cortisone that says "cooling gel" the creams, ointments, lotions don't do anything for me. Avoid anything with scent from laundry detergent, to body wash, lotion. Milk baths if possible. Maybe get a second opinion or better yet dermatologist.

Nur naturals have an amazing soap/lotion combo for my son. My doctor recommended hydrocortisone
We were prescribed desonide cream. Worked well. No fragrances, hypoallergenic laundry detergent. CeraVe soap or dove sensitive
My son had contact dermatitis in-between the inside of his arms and legs and a few patches on his legs, and I thought for sure it was eczema. Switched his body wash and lotion to aveeno baby oatmeal, and don't make bubble baths either. I also gave him baking soda baths, which helped a lot! Just a tablespoon to his bath did wonders the next day. I'd ask a pediatrician first, though.
Get the allergist to prescribe something. Don’t use Benadryl. They can give you a higher strength hydrocortisone to knock it out. We have a desonide ointment that the allergist prescribed to us. We use it as needed and once we started use we rarely need it while we needed the hydrocortisone almost every day.
My son had it really bad when he was younger. I use cortizone healing lotion and seal it with aquaphor. Works wonders and I still do it every night even though majority of his rashes are cleared up
@Macie yes 😓
Hi everyone thank you for all the wonderful help. We use aquaphor regularly , oatmeal baths, unscented lotions with oatmeal/eczema skin. So she was prescribed “Triamcinolone cream 0.1%” by her pediatrician. Allergist said she was fine. We have an appointment with the dermatologist but they’ve rescheduled so I wanted to see what else works with some of you. 🩷
@Virginia we live in Virginia. We use a humidifier at night too.
Have you tried aquaphor yet
