Do you wash your hands after touching raw chicken?

That actually made me gag. I can’t imagine touching it without washing my hands. The texture alone makes me wanna wash my hands lol it’s slimey! Not to mention salmonella, E. coli, etc

I’m like highly weird about this stuff. I over wash my hands and do it after every step as well I wont touch anything but what I’m doing and I am even cautious about going over my hardwood floor! I won’t let my child in the kitchen either! I am SO so weird about raw stuff 😭 you ain’t catching me getting salmonella!

I would’ve honestly told him that’s disgusting and he needs to be more respectful of himself and the people he’s making that for because EW

Also apperantly lots of people don’t watch their hand after handling raw eggs. I see it constantly in YouTube videos, etc. They’ll crack an egg, leave shells on a counter and don’t wash their hands 🤢🤮

Chicken makes me so nervous I’m so paranoid about undercooking it to get sick I could not imagine wiping chicken juices and a paper towel and then just all of the things he touched in the house afterwards… 🤢… like my hands are constantly needing lotion cuz of how often I wash my hands… like we got covid and rsv and flu to worry about and now people’s salmonella hands… 🤢

Multiple times and then I clean down all the counters around the area too, I don’t fuck about when it comes to raw chicken.

I’m extra when it comes to raw meat especially chicken!!! I will wash my hands several times and then the sink and the hand wash bottle (because I’ve touched it to get the hand wash out) and then my hands again!! Literally every thing gets washed until that chicken is cooked. Don’t let him back in your house 🤣🤣🤣

Lol erm, yes! Everything touched after that is contaminated, people forget about cross contamination and it's crazy. I bet he left the paper towel on the side too 😬

Grim! Raw chicken can be contaminated with salmonella which will be all over his hands and everything he touches, potentially making himself and everyone else in the house very sick!

Get him a food safety course subscription for next Xmas or birthday! That's seriously grim and unsanitary!
