Traveling with frozen milk

How do I go about taking stored milk out for the day? Dad want’s to take our 16 week old out without me and I’ve no idea how to go about him taking milk.

Do you have a cool bag? Or able to buy one? It can be stored up to 24hours in a cool bag with ice packs 🙂 x

How long will he be out? It can be at room temp for 6 hours, 24 hours with a cool bag with ice packs. Could you just take one out of the freezer in the morning and pop it in an insulated bag?

@Charley Oh great thank you, yes we will do that. He may be out over 6 hours as he’s wanting to take her along on activity days with his 3 year old. Do you happen to know what he’d do when it comes to making a bottle on the go?

@Abi okay fab, is that 24 hours still frozen or thawed?x

It would be thawed so if it’s still frozen it would last even longer. If he goes to a food place he could ask them for a jug of hot water to warm the bottle or they may have a bottle warmer for customer use. If not he could take a thermos flask with boiling water and a jug to use himself ready for when baby needs to eat x

Yeah just a jug of warm water, pop the bag in it and then pour into a bottle. If he's nowhere near a cafe etc he could take a thermos of hot water and a large cup/small jug to do the same
