Try running yourself a hot bath and having a nice hot drink and taking 5 minutes for yourself even if you want to have a cry in the bath you've got to pull yourself together for your child or children I know it's hard as I am going through postnatal depression myself if you would like you can inbox me if you ever feel like you need someone to talk to sometimes talking through problems with people could help xx
Cry honey, let out those emotions.
Oh lovely, that's a hard place to be. Sounds like there's a lot on your plate just now and your dealing with grief as well. Get to your GP or talk to your health visitor and ask them what help and support is available to you. Don't go through this alone and know that this is common and normal, but that doesn't make it easier or less horrendous. It will pass with the right support and a bit of time I'm sure, but absolutely good to get either some anti anxiety medication or something talking therapy to help you through things. Sending love and hugs xxx
Yes to all of the above. I’ve struggled with anxiety attacks my whole life. Next time you’re in the middle of one, try looking around and naming everything of a specific color. Take your time and say the items out loud. This can help bring you back to the present moment and slow your heart create and breathing. Or if you feel like crying, just let is out and sob! Longer term strategies can include journaling, naming your feelings (which you can do in the journaling. If you can name it, you can tame it!), and mindfulness work. Good luck. You’re not alone!
Let yourself feel emotions don’t try and stuff them away. You will get through this…
