I find I feel more obliged to finish a bottle if Iāve opened it. But boxed wine is great as you donāt have a visual of how much is in there, so for me I find I pour and drink only what I actually fancy drinking. We also aim for a few no alcohol evenings throughout the week and itās easier if we both choose not to.
I was like this before I got pregnant again, I found it was a lot of the time because I was bored so try and find something to do. Also if my partner wanted a drink, it was hard to say no. He works shifts so I started to work out when we would be both off together on an evening and make set dates to have a drink together, having it to look forward to meant I didnāt miss not having one.
Totally on the 'drink wine most nights train ' š i put it down to relaxation that once my daughter has gone to bed it's what I like to do to unwind.. but I try and have at leat 3 nights week where I have no alcohol so I look forward to it more. It is about breaking the habit though. As once I did a week where I didn't drink, it became easy to think the next week I don't want to drink every night. Plus it hits you more when you don't have it.all the time and you feel you don't need as much x
Could always buy wines you donāt like as much so will make you drink less as you donāt like them as much?
