Surprise Induction
Well, momma's, I was admitted last night for a surprise induction. I'm geriatric, 37+4 weeks, and had a BP higher than 130/80 (the standard used to be 140/90 😑).
No baby yet, and only a 1/2 a cm of dilation 🤦🏻 it's going to be a long day.
Thoughts and prayers would be appreciated! I want to get home to my toddler and husband...o and see this baby 😂

it's not, just new research/data suggests they should test earlier 😑 even the Dr was annoyed he had to send me in, per protocol. I have no other symptoms.
Good luck mama! I had a last minute induction on Friday for hypertension on Friday and it went well. Hope the same for you and your little one
My induction is seceduled at 5pm today also 37 weeks for high BP good luck mama hope your induction goes well
how long did it take you? It's only been 12 hours and I'm already over this.

it went good! Got called to come later at 7pm on the 22nd and had him this morning at 7am he was 6 pounds 3oz and he’s doing well! Hopefully we get to go home tomorrow🤞🏽 how are you doing mama ❤️
lucky! I'm still here. Water broke but contractions slowed. On pitocin now, so 🤞 tonight!
It finally happened 😍 my surprise gender baby *Girl* was born at 1am 1/24/25. 2 weeks early and she's still 7lbs 4.5 oz ❤️
