Seeing baby’s movement?

FTM and 23 +3 days pregnant, I can feel a lot of movement but haven’t been able to see anything yet or feel on the outside, is this normal? Keep seeing moms talking about seeing / feeling their baby with their hands at 20+ so wondering if I should be concerned? TIA X

I’ve only started to see some movements, I’m 22 weeks and 4 days, honestly I would not worry at all ❤️ aslong as your feeling them, then that’s all that matters 🥰 congratulations x

Completely normal! It depends on a lot of stuff such as placenta position, your body composition, where specifically the baby kicks etc. If you think about it, if your baby kicks the placenta, that's an extra inch or so of "padding" that kick needs to go through to see/feel it on the outside. Or if they are facing towards your spine, then you wouldn't necessarily feel much around your tummy. As the baby grows bigger, you'll definitely start seeing the kicks! X

Thanks ladies! That makes me feel better! I’ve got a posterior placenta so would have thought that would make it easier to see babies kick! Maybe I’m just being a bit impatient haha! Glad it’s nothing to worry about x

i haven’t seen any movements yet but i’m a bit chubby so not expecting baby to be strong enough to kick 20lbs of fat😅

Really really normal, I didn’t start seeing until about 24 weeks, I’m almost 26 now but been feeling since 20 weeks x

My daughter is a savage king fu fighter and professional river dancer, beats me up daily from the inside but no, never seen a single thing from the outside 😂 So don’t think it’s anything for you/anyone to worry about at all 🤭🥰

With my first I started to see movements from the outside at about 24 weeks It’s happened a lot sooner with my second at 17 weeks

Thanks ladies for the reassurance! Hopefully soon I’ll be able to see them and not just feel them! Although they are the best feeling ever!🥰
