Percentile / growth concern

Hello everyone, had our 20 week scan today. At our 12 week scan was measuring 44% percentile but this time has measured 15% percentile? Looks like they’re measured differently but should I be concerned? I’m worried she’s not growing very well.. Also being referred as may have velamentous cord insertion / placenta issue..

I haven’t had my 20 week scan yet but I wasn’t even told a percentile measuring at my 12 week! X

Where do you see this? I had my 20 week scan today but can’t see anything in my badger notes?

@Bethany It might take a while to upload to badger notes. I had a print out at my 20 week scan and then on the app my trust use it says the report won’t be available until the start of Feb x

The CRL measurement at your 12 week scan is very different to fetal weight. At 12 weeks the CRL measurement is baby's crown to rump length so how long they are. At 20 weeks fetal weight is worked out by measuring head circumference, femur length and the abdomen. The 20 week scan is the first time they estimate baby's weight. It's nothing to be concerned about at the stage and later in pregnancy the midwife will measure your bump to ensure that growth stays on track. If it is that you measure too big or small you will be sent for a growth scan.

@Beth Ahhh ok thank you! ☺️ with the possible placenta problem I was worried her growth had stunted which can be a side effect of the velamentous cord insertion so got me overthinking… hoping to hear from fetal medicine unit asap! 🤞🏻
