Dentist visit

They should get a quick check when you go to your appointments. You can always phone to make an appointment, my son went when he was just over 1 year old, our dentist see’s them every 3 months after they’ve been to help desensitise them and get them confident with all the sounds and equipment so they aren’t afraid or overwhelmed when they need to go properly when they are older

Yes my daughter is 17 months and she has had 2 appointments one when she was 11 month and then one at 16 months, dentist are brilliant with her, now she has to go every 6 months. Xx

Yeah I’m a dental nurse my girl has been once when she turned one and is going again in March, worth just booking them in just getting them checked!❤️❤️

My 17mo has 16 teeth and still hasn’t been seen! Originally they said when he had his first tooth, but then they said oh no we don’t need to see him until he’s 1, but every time I go they never end up seeing him! It’s making me a bit anxious now.

We went recently, all they did was count her teeth & gave her a sticker. It’s so difficult at this time, my daughter is so shy so she didn’t wanna open her mouth. So I opened it for them, they’ve suggested every 6 months to go! X

I was told to go as soon as they turn 6 months just to get them used to going from a young age x

We’ve been twice, he’s now 16 months, in my area we had to sign up as soon as born to get NHS

Going next week for the third time with my 16 month old (with me and my 3 year old). They’ve just had a quick peak in her mouth to check her teeth are coming through and get her used to it.
