Ovulation

Hi, I've been doing ovulation tests to try have a baby after I lost one in September. Every test I do through the month only has 1 line. I've tried different packets and brands and I only ever get 1 line. What does this mean? Been trying for a baby a few months now and isn't happening so thought I'd do these strips but now I'm questioning my body and if I even ovulate at all since loosing my baby🫠🫠🫠

It could be that your LH is on the lower side and just not currently high enough to register but still will when you get to peak. But if you’ve been testing every day for a whole cycle (or longer) I’d contact your doctor as having undetectably low LH throughout your whole cycle is likely a problem. Please do keep us posted

Have you tried the easy@home brand? I use those and I always have a second line wether faint or positive

@Hannah no I haven't. I have tried a few different ones and even expensive ones. I'm going to test every day and see if I get 2 lines at all through the month xx

@Jessica I'm going to keep testing every day, and if I don't have 2 lines like you say, at all until next period I will call the doctors. I should be ovulating I believe Saturday (day 14) so that's why I'm slightly confused why I have only 1 line today still. I will keep you updated. I might just be a late ovulater maybe xx

Just a reminder also that you very likely won’t ovulate day 14. Some people ovulate earlier and some much later, I don’t usually ovulate till day 18 and then get my period only 8-9 days later, so do keep testing through the whole cycle until you find it

@Jessica thankyou that's made me feel better. My cycle is about 24 to 26 days so I'm hoping it won't be too delayed, but we'll see. I've spoken to a Dr today and she said to test twice a day, and if I come on my period with no second line or peak at all through the month to call her and she'll get me some tests done xxx
