I work in HR. If you only work half the usual hours of work, then yes, you'd get paid half the pay. Essentially, you are paid for the hours worked, pro-rata the full time equivalent.

Ive dropped from 5 days down to 3 days..I'm around 250 more than half of my original wage, a month.

I'm dropping to 3 days and due to no longer earning enough to pay student loans, less tax etc I'm actually better off by about £50 😵‍💫
